I have been an independent study teacher since 2006 and I have been overseeing the independent study program here at ILCS since 2009! I have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a multiple subjects credential. I absolutely love being able to interact with my independent study families and helping them increase their student's strengths and build up their child's weaknesses. I also enjoy giving parents the tools to help their children succeed academically. I am married to my high school sweetheart and have 3 beautiful daughters that all have attended ILCS since it opened. I love being involved at my church, working out, and laughing and having fun with my family!

I received my multiple subject credential from University of Redlands and have loved teaching ever since. I have been an independent study teacher at ILCS since 2010. I particularly enjoy the one on one connection with students and their parents. I also love how independent study allows some flexibility to meet each student’s needs. Every student is unique and I can help challenge and accommodate to best help the student. In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children.

I have been a part of the ILCS family since 2013. However, this is my first year as an independent study teacher. I received my multiple subject teaching credential and master's degree from the University of Redlands. I am excited to be involved in this amazing and ever-expanding program. Having been a parent of students in the independent study program here at ILCS, I know first hand the joys and challenges that are involved in choosing to home educate your child. I am excited for the opportunity to come alongside families as they embark on this exciting journey.
